Brett Magee scored two goals including the game tying goal at 8:12 of the 3rd period as the Fairville Shooters Alpines tied the SK Knights 3-3 in Lancaster Centennial Hockey League play on Friday evening at the Peter Murray Arena.

 

Jay Blanchard with a goal and an assist also scored for the Alpines against Knights goaltender Ryan Spencer.

 

Keenan Wedge-Joudrey scored two goals and added an assist for the Knights while Chad Snyder also scored for the Knights against Alpines goaltender Mike Lagteigne.

BRADY SCRIBNER CHOSEN FIRST OVERALL IN LCHL MID SEASON ENTRY DRAFT

The 2018-19 Lancaster Centennial Hockey League Mid Season Entry draft was held on Tuesday evening at Fairville Shooters with ten players added to the existing rosters for second half play and the ensuing playoff season.

The expansion Lancaster Centennial Thunder were the most active selecting five players to supplement their roster.

Players added by the Thunder include Brady Scribner, Aiden Villareal, Tristan Reilly, Dawson Griffin and Nic Smith.

The SK Knights add three players including Steve Kempt, Lawrence Boyle and Liam Carruthers.

Becketts Lumberkings added Sammy Maguire and the Fairville Shooters Alpines welcome back former Saint John Seadog Chuck Schembri.

League action will resume on Thursday, January 3rd at the Peter Murray Arena.

 

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14 AT PETER MURRAY ARENA

FORFEIT

 

The Lancaster Centennial Hockey League will begin a twenty day Hioliday Break with league play resuming on Thursday, January 3 at 9:15 pm when the Centennial Thunder take on Becketts Lumberkings.


The Midseason Entry Draft is scheduled for Tuesday, December 18 at 7:00 pm at Fairville Shooters.


The Fairville Shooters Alpines will get the first pick in the draft from the Thunder after acquiring the top choice in a trade at the beginning of the season followed by Becketts Lumberkings,


The Alpines had the head to head edge over the SK Knights winning two games and tying one game and losing one game against the Knights.


The Knights will make the third pick in the entry draft followed by the Alpines.

Jay Blanchard scored two goals and added two assists leading the Fairville Shooters Alpines to a 6-3 win over Becketts Lumberkings in Lancaster Centennial Hockey League action on a frosty Thursday evening at the Peter Murray Arena.

 

Mackenzie Brewer added two goals and an assist while Jake Demmons and Corey Martin also scored for the Alpines against Lumberkings goaltender Alex Cunningham.

 

Tyler Copeland scored twice to pace the Lumberkings offensively and Josh McGrath also scored against winning goaltender Mike Langteigne.
